Are there setup fees or recruiter fees?

No. The monthly rate is everything — sourcing, vetting, onboarding, HR, payroll, and account management included. No placement fee, no percentage markup, no kickers. If a hire doesn't work out in the first 30 days we replace them at no additional cost.

How does currency and invoicing work?

Invoices are issued in Canadian dollars from Obelisk Talent Inc., a Canadian-incorporated company. You pay in CAD, full stop. No currency conversion, no FX surprises, no offshore wire complexity. The monthly rate is locked for the engagement term.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Engagements are month-to-month after an initial 3-month period. The 3 months exist because that's how long it takes for a new team member to fully ramp — anything shorter isn't fair to either side. After that, 30 days' notice in either direction.

What happens if a hire doesn't work out?

Within the first 30 days, we replace the hire at no additional cost — new shortlist, new onboarding, same monthly rate. After 30 days, we'll still replace on request; our retention record depends on it. Either way, you aren't stuck with a mis-match.

Can I hire more than one person?

Yes. Most clients end up running multiple roles through one contract — it's why we priced this as a monthly per-hire rate rather than a retainer. Add roles as you need them; the contract structure doesn't change.

Is the rate the same every month?

Yes. The monthly rate is flat for the engagement term. No performance kickers, no success fees, no retention bonuses. If your hire is excellent — which is the point — that's value you capture, not us.
