FINANCE & OPS

Hire a Bookkeeper.

Weekly books, reconciliations, AR/AP, and the kind of ledger discipline that lets your accountant focus on close, not cleanup.

Pre-vetted, full-time dedicated, with HR & payroll handled.

Overview

What a Bookkeeper actually does.

Bookkeepers in our network keep the daily ledger in shape — invoices reconciled, expenses categorized, vendor records clean — so month-end takes a day instead of a week. We vet for software fluency (QuickBooks, Xero), reconciliation accuracy, and the discipline to flag an anomaly before it becomes an audit comment.

Responsibilities

  • Categorize and reconcile bank, credit-card, and merchant feeds weekly
  • Process AR and AP — invoices in, bills out, ageing reports
  • Maintain vendor and customer records in QuickBooks or Xero
  • Prepare ledgers and supporting schedules for monthly close
  • Flag anomalies and unreconciled items to the senior accountant

How We Vet This Role

Role-scoped, not one-size-fits-all.

Bookkeeping candidates reconcile a sample three-month feed with seeded errors — we grade catch rate, categorization consistency, and the questions they ask before guessing.
